Abstract
Being overweight is an increasing problem among children. This problem has to be addressed before it is out of hand. In this article, I will outline some of the causes of this problem and the solutions that can help reduce the risk of being overweight. As a parent, I am also concerned with my little daughter’s health, which makes this topic of great importance to me.
Causes of overweight in children
There are several causes of overweight in children. Most of these can be prevented.
1 Genetics
Genetic disorders can lead to overweight. This problem is at times hereditary and can be passed from parents to the children.
2 Food and Activities.
The type of food we eat is the primary cause of being overweight. Children should be given a proper diet to ensure that they are in good health.
3 Environment.
