Either with the title or in the body of the paper you will must include the location and time of the performance and names of performers. In past semesters some students have filled an unnecessary amount of space by adding spaces above the title and enlarging the title, name and date lines. This leads to severe grade reductions. Your paper must contain at least a full page of well edited, grammatically clean and logically organized text. Musical events using mostly prerecorded or mostly digital production are not eligible for the assigned papers. Someone must sing or play an instrument on these concerts. If you are in doubt about the eligibility of your event, consult me. I encourage you to choose performances of music that are unfamiliar to you.
