In this project, students will choose one of three options to demonstrate their Leave a reply In this project, students will choose one of three options to demonstrate their critical thinking as applied to a creative concept for a hypothetical production of No Exit. They will apply skills as Actors, Designers or Directors to create a Character Analysis, Design Slide presentation or Marketing Poster. TOTAL POINTS: 100. Due May 3.Options for Creative Project [pick only one]:Option 1: Character AnalysisApply the same criteria as the Character Analysis assignment from earlier in the semester. Students will analyze 1 character from No Exit and explain as follows:Characters Motivations, Tactics and RelationshipsSkills needed to portray the character (how his/her voice would sound or body would be used)How you as an actor would perform a specific scene in terms of voice, movement, and interaction with other characters. [Include lines of script]Each student will submit 1 Word Doc or PDF file, featuring textual descriptions of the character chosen to analyze and specific acting choices. These may be accompanied by images or video if desired.Option 2: Design Slide PresentationApply the same criteria as the Design Project earlier in the semester. Students will submit Design slide presentation on Costume, Set or Lighting Design including:1 slide stating overall concept for this design (themes chosen and how they affect your design choices)2-3 slides featuring descriptions and illustrations various elements of your Costume, Set or Lighting Design (choose only one form of design)1 Works cited slide.Each student will submit 1 Power Point presentation.Option 3: Marketing PosterApplying concepts from the Directing unit, Students will create a Marketing poster that will best demonstrate a Core Concept or High Concept for No Exit.
