Cinical is more practice of mental health counseling, more one on one family group. More individualize for the people to help change. Macro is more working with larger system to impact the individual.

Her Parents were social workers because they met at graduate school for social work. Sarah feel it’s in her blood to be a social worker, even though she didn’t want to be one at first. She Wanted to be a politician. But then she Felt she wanted to work with people and that’s when went back to get degree in social work. She Believed in social justice.

Went to grad school. Started direct practice, working in schools. Wanted to do more public health, admin policy, worked at upenn with smoking treatment Policies and programs. Always interest in politics as a hobby. What pushed into running for council was when trump won. She Remember seeing Obama give speech about if you want to see change, don’t wait for it to happen grab a clipboard and run for office.
