In particular multiple news stories have gone around questioning how hospitals states and the federal government should ration limited medical supplies such as monoclonal antibodies lung transplants and ventilators. Provided below are a few of these news stories. As your final assignment for ENTC 4350 you are to write a three (3) page single column 1.5 line spacing paper on whether it is ethical to rational medical supplies and equipment based on a persons vaccination status. You are free to pick any side of the argument that you wish. Your grade will be based on the quality of the arguments that you make not on the side of the argument. For full credit you must have at least ten (10) references in the paper. These references should be cited in line and at the end just as in a professional journal article. References do not count for the page limit so the paper will be three pages plus references. At least three (3) of the references must be peer-reviewed academic articles on medical ethics. This assignment is due at 11:59 PM on the Friday of finals week. As there is no final exam in this class this paper takes the place of the final exam and will count as much towards your final grade.
