would have limited or no interaction with these departments and divisions. They would be concerned more with their own internal solutions and processes. They might conduct a customer survey without getting input on the questions from the various departments. They might provide recommendations based solely on the survey without getting information or input from anywhere else. As you might guess their recommendations are probably going to be less robust than the recommendations of the team with healthy boundaries. Additionally there may issues with getting the recommendations accepted and implemented due to issues the team didn’t consider and/or lack of “buy-in” from the various departments.
