The book, Consciousness at the Crossroads: Conversion with Delai Lama on Brain Science and Buddhism addresses vital questions that have caused differences between Western science and religious over many years . The discussions between Delai Lama and the group of eminent psychiatrists and neurologists are based on various issues including the nature of the mind and whether it is a side effect of the physical processes of the brain and consciousness and its origin.
