The article, “Teachers Professional Development” draws attention to how professional learning activities affect the teaching and growth activities of the teachers; in particular, the author draws attention to the professional activities of three teachers in South Korea. The article applies a descriptive approach rather than an expository and, in my opinion, an operative method. On research, the learning opportunity supported the teachers in that it fosters a review posture toward teaching. In addition, the program improves the teaching abilities in that the teachers learn the act of self-reflection during classes. Correspondingly, through cooperative erudition with their contemporaries, the instructors are able to get professional growth and identify obstacles that hinder learning activities such as time constraints, disbanded discussion, culture and physiological barriers. In the article, the author appeals that most of the educational sectors are setting ambitious goals for students learning through the education reforms such as movements in South Korea.
