Directions for your initial post:
Choose a business that you would like to use to evaluate a company’s marketing tactics. In your discussion post, make sure to indicate which company you are using.
Each student should work on a different business. Before you prepare your post, please check the discussion to ensure that no one else has chosen that business.
Provide a discussion about the following items relating to your selected business.
Product/service – market and needs, key features and differentiators, business goals
Brand strategy – positioning
Pricing strategies – competition-based, cost-plus, dynamic, freemium, high-low, hourly, skimming, penetration, project-based, value based
Place/distribution – direct selling, dealer network, value-added reseller
Promotion – push/pull marketing, advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing
